Have you DRIVEN a new WRX with a manual? The gearbox is AWFUL. My roommate has a ‘15 and it’s terrible. It manages to feel rough and vague at the same time, and the clutch has 0 feedback. Combined with the engine’s rev hang that Subaru programmed in, it drives like shit.

I have a kartboy short shifter kit and a shifter stop and it improved the feel in my opinion.

I’ve never found the rev hang to be an issue.

The way the power ramps at 20% throttle and the vague clutch do take some getting used to.
